Abstract
This paper demonstrates that Pseudomonas fluorescens strain WCS417 and salicylic
acid can induce systemic resistance in radish and Arabidopsis thaliana against
Fusarium oxysporum. In neither of the two plant species this induction is associated
with induction of PRs. This indicates that PR-accumulation is not a prerequisite for
induction of systemic resistance.
