This issue gives an outline of the oceanographical, climatological and geological data obtained from the southern North Sea area. The work does not intend to be exhaustive in any way about the subjects treated. Therefore, extensive references both to source material and to other publications are included. This booklet with its many figures and references will be of great value as a source of information to every marine scientist who wants to work in this area.
