On the luminescence of the chromate (CrO42−) complex

Abstract
The chromate (CrO42−) complex is shown to luminesce in some specific host lattices. The emission is situated in the red ana the quantum efficiency is low. No luminescence was observed for oxocomplexes of Re7+.
