Abstract

Objectives: This is a protocol for a Cochrane Review (prognosis). The objectives are as follows:. Primary objectives The primary objective is to summarise available evidence on the overall prognostic value of androgen receptor (AR) expression, in addition to hormone receptors and HER2 status, for predicting survival in women with early breast cancer. Secondary objectives The secondary objectives are to evaluate disease-free survival, breast cancer-specific survival, and metastasis-free survival as prognostic outcomes.
