A note on the Greedy [beta-]transformation with arbitrary digits

Abstract

We consider a generalization of the greedy and lazy [beta]expansions with digit set A = fa0 <a1 < <amg. We prove that the transformation generating such expansions admits a unique absolutely continuous invariant ergodic measure. Furthermore, the support of this measure is an interval.
