Abstract
Hoge NT-pro-BNP-waarden bij patiënten met hartfalen gaan gepaard met een slechtere prognose. Hoewel de recente richtlijnen geen uitspraak doen over therapie op geleide van NT-pro-BNP-waarden, is er wisselend succes mee bereikt bij patiënten met chronisch hartfalen. Bij patiënten met acuut hartfalen is dit nog niet onderzocht.
