Abstract

In the Netherlands, in-work poverty is especially an issue for persons in a single-person household or a household with only one in-work person, in particular when there are dependent children in the household. Moreover, the solo self-employed and flexworkers are most often at risk of in-work poverty, partly due to them not being able to work for sufficient hours.
