Abstract
The first part of this thesis addresses the long-term follow-up of patients with a history of
subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) in whom the ruptured aneurysm was treated by means of
clipping. The second part describes the effectiveness and consequences of screening for new
intracranial aneurysms in patients with a history of SAH and in relatives with familial SAH.
