Abstract
Summary The work described in this thesis focuses on the development of inhibitors for Pseudomonas aeruginosa targeting lectins LecA and LecB to inhibit the adhesion of this pathogen and also its biofilm formation. The specificity of the adhesion process could be also used as a detection handle.
