Abstract
The commentary of Donaldson and colleagues lists
several of the unanswered questions concerning the potential
oncogenicity of feline leukaemia virus (FeLV) and feline
immunodeficiency virus (FIV) in human beings. As a
contribution to this debate, we report a study in patients
with haematological neoplasms, carried out with
immunological and molecular techniques.
