Abstract

The authors regret that the following two errors are present in the article: 1. In Eq. 4, which expresses the travel time of the refracted wave, the numerator of the first term should contain [Formula presented]instead of [Formula presented]since this term corresponds to the path of the acoustic wave travelling through the water column ([Formula presented] at velocity [Formula presented] Therefore, the revised version of Eq. 4 is: [Formula presented]2. In Fig. 2, the critical distance ([Formula presented] and its corresponding arrow are incorrectly positioned, as they actually indicate [Formula presented] The critical distance is correctly indicated in the following revised version of Fig. 2.The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
