Abstract
Digital migrant cultures involve mobile individuals using technology to express identity, build networks and adapt to new environments. Mobile devices are pivotal in exploring socio-cultural politics and migration experiences. Our chapter delves into these intersections, exploring digital migrant culture through four conceptual lenses: infrastructure, connections, representation and affectivity. Additionally, we offer methodological insights on using smartphones for research, aiming to foster interdisciplinary understanding.
