Abstract
After deposition of egg cells of Dentalium
dentale L., hair-like protrusions, which are
Feulgen-positive, are clearly visible at the
vegetal pole. On checking the American
species Dentalium antillarum it appeared
that similar protrusions are visible in this
species.
