Abstract
With the equipment described in the preceding paper the angular distribution has been measured of long range protons from the Be9(d, p)Be10 reaction at a deuteron bombarding energy of 470 keV. The distribution shows a pronounced maximum in backward direction. Series expansion of the distribution into spherical harmonics is shown to be simple, terms containing P4(cos ) or higher being negligible. A short discussion is given of the theoretical implications of the observed distribution.
