Abstract

In this thesis, the potential of Agent-Based Modelling (ABM) to improve policy development is thoroughly examined. The study delves into the intricacies of fostering collaboration between ABM practitioners and policy developers, identifying key challenges and proposing strategic solutions. With a focus on real-world applications, this work aims to equip researchers and policy developers with the tools and understanding needed to leverage ABM effectively in tackling pressing policy issues such as climate change, economic inequality, and healthcare.
