A description of the SSD Project.
What is built:
–same sensor, small change in stereo angle
–improved ASIC HAL25, new technology
–1698 modules: 34 ladders with 22, 38 ladders with 25 modules
–low mass: 1.6 % radiation length
–installation 15 March 2007
