Abstract
This article examines Sabina Berman's chronicle/memoir La bobe, where the Mexican author interweaves intergenerational Jewish migration experiences through the relationships between three generations of women. The focus is on her approach to exile and cultural heritage. By introducing two key conceptual movements "erotic praxis" and "kinopoetics", the article aims to transform the traditional understanding of displacement and migration. Drawing on Thomas Nail's theoretical framework of kinetic materialism, it demonstrates how Berman's work privileges movement as a generative principle. This is exemplified through her narrative style, which oscillates between tragic and comic perspectives, maintaining a productive tension. Ultimately, the article argues that Berman challenges traditional migration narratives by offering creative alternatives through comedy and a feminine logic, reframing exile as a vital, imaginative process. Beyond Berman, this approach articulates a new way of understanding interexilic and migratory relationships and poetics based on the paradigm of movement and eroticism.
