Abstract
The status of work on the influence of nonadsorbing polymers on depletion dynamics in colloidal dispersions is reviewed. In the past focus has been paid to equilibrium properties of colloid-polymer mixtures. In practice the dynamical behaviour is equally important. Dynamic properties including colloid diffusion, sedimentation and suspension rheology as affected by polymer-induced depletion attraction are discussed. (C) 2014 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
