Abstract
In the energy range Ep = 1.2–3.2 MeV fortry-four resonances were found in the inelastic proton scattering from 33S. The energies, widths and relative strengths are reported. No indication was found at these resonances for the existence of a 1.4 MeV level of 33S, suggested by shell-model calculations. The 1.96 MeV level of 33S predominantly (> 97%) decays to the ground state; its spin is . 3/2.
