Abstract

A homogenizer has been designed, which, while being of a simple construction, is capable of liberating nuclei from animal tissues in a continuous and reproducible way. The apparatus may be used with viscous media. The isolation procedure of nuclei from beef pancreas in a 70 % glycerine medium is described.
