De complexiteit van mentoring in het bedrijfsleven

Abstract

Though mentoring is an important issue in business organisations, it is not always very clear what is meant when the term 'mentoring' is used. There are discussions as to what mentoring really includes, as to how the concept changes with time and is interpreted differently depending on where it is used. Different types of mentoring programmes are analysed, together with the issue of the effectiveness of mentor relations and the variables that can influence it. The contribution concludes with some reflections on future developments and recommendations for use in practice.
