Abstract
The authors regret to inform that there was an error in the variable that was used to plot Figure 1, the Kaplan-Meier curve, namely the distribution of patients per category. The numbers of patients allocated in the groups 1 to 7, described in Figure 1 of the paper were reported to be 6, 110, 139, 65, 64, 30 and 2, respectively. However, the right numbers should have been 6, 110, 139, 65, 53, 24 and 19. The authors have carried out the analyses as described in the paper with the correct numbers. This did not influence the results, or the conclusions as presented in the paper. All statistical significances remained unaltered. The correct figure and table, corresponding to the paper is below. Figure 1 Title: Kaplan-Meier curves of groups with variable degrees of sensory loss[Figure presented] Legend: Median time (days (IQR)) to new DFU is given per group, alongside the number of patients with DFUs in the total period of observation (whole cohort: median 836.5 days (IQR, 459–1078)). Group 1, n = 0 DFUs; Group 2, n = 2 DFUs (median 711 days (IQR, 620-)); Group 3, n = 6 DFUs (median 545 days (IQR, 198–857); Group 4, n = 4 DFUs (median 535 days (IQR, 248–776)); Group 5, n = 10 DFUs (median 213 days (IQR, 124–487)); Group 6, n = 9 DFUs (median 493 days (IQR, 332–692)); Group 7, n = 9 DFU (median 364 days (IQR, 220–554)). [Table presented] The authors would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused.
