Abelian varieties over finite fields

Gael: Luminy 21 - 25 March 2005 We could try to classify isomorphism classes of abelian varieties. The theory of moduli spaces of polarized abelian varieties answers this question completely. This is a geometric theory. However it is sometimes not so easy to exhibit explicit examples.
