An easy entry to novel early-late oligonuclear transition metal complexes containing pi-conjugated systems

Abstract

Heterotrinuclear Ti-Cu-Ru (5) and heterotetranuclear Ti-Cu-Pt-Fe (7) containing complexes are accessible by using {[Ti](C@8C}t{Bu){2}}CuMe (1) ([Ti]=(@h}5{-C{5}H{4}SiMe{3}){2}Ti) as key molecule; in 5 and 7, the corresponding early and late transition metal atoms are linked by @p-conjugated organic moieties.
