Abstract
The γ-ray spectra of 20 resonances in the 35Cl(p, γ)36Ar reaction have been measured with a Ge(Li) detector. Branching ratios and energies of the resonances and of 29 bound states have been determined. Two new doublets have been found at Ex = 7.14 and 7.25 MeV. The reaction Q-value has been determined as Qo = 8506.9±0.3 keV; this value was used to deduce accurate proton energies of the resonances. Lifetimes of 22 bound states have been obtained from Doppler-shift attenuation measurements.
