Abstract

SAMENVATTING

Dit hoofdstuk gaat over het complexe voorzetsel in cima a, dat bestudeerd wordt in contrastieve zin. Allereerst wordt nagegaan welke woorden zoal gebruikt kunnen worden om het begrip ‘top‘ weer te geven en wordt de semantische motivatie van deze woorden geanalyseerd. Daarna wordt voor de verschillende Romaanse talen beschreven hoe van het woord voor ‘top‘ complexe voorzetsels worden gevormd.

RIASSUNTO

Questo capitolo tratta la preposizione complessa in cima a, che viene studiata in senso contrastivo. Prima si esaminano le parole che si prestano a rappresentare il concetto di ‘top/cima‘ e se ne analizza la motivazione semantica. Poi si descrive per le varie lingue romanze come da queste parole si creano preposizioni complesse.

SUMMARY

This chapter treats the complex Italian preposition in cima a in a contrastive way. First we examine the various words that can be used to represent the notion of ‘top‘ and we analyze their semantic motivation. Then we describe how the ‘top‘ word is used in the different Romance languages for creating complex prepositions.
