Mathematical analysis of the cellular immune reactions against tumor cells

Abstract

We have described a mathematical model of interaction between T lymphocytes and macrophages. In our model two different types of cytotoxic effector cells eradicate turnout cells: cytotoxic T lymphocytes (CTL) and cytotoxic macrophages. CTL are generated upon recognition of antigenic determinants on live, viable, tumour cells.
