Abstract
The @d-values and coupling constants J{1}{, }{2} of the anomeric protons of 30 pertrimethylsilyl oligosaccharides, obtained from the 100 MHz PMR spectra of these derivatives, are given. Based on these data a method has been developed for the determination of the configuration of the glycosidic bond in oligosaccharides. The influence of substitution of an OH group by another sugar unit on the chemical shift of the anomeric proton in d-glucose was studied.
